Park of a Thousand Years

Right next door is Hungary's unique model park, the Park of a Thousand Years. Here the famous built heritage of our country you can admire it in the form of scale models (1:25 scale). Take a stroll through the park and admire the Budapest Parliament, the Diósgyőr Castle or the Dome of Szeged, among others. The park with interactive elements and exciting exhibitions is open to all ages, so children can learn about history in a playful way, while adults can reminisce about the sights of Hungary with nostalgia. Visit Park of a Thousand Years is truly a great programme for all seasons: in spring and summer, the flowering park provides a beautiful backdrop for the models, in autumn you can wander among the colourful deciduous trees, and in winter the area is bathed in festive lights.
