Our guest house is on the outskirts of Mórahalom, in a picturesque, on a green estate lies directly on the shores of Lake St John. The city centre is only a few minutes' drive away (about 2 km), so you can enjoy the a relaxed country atmosphere and the benefits of the nearby city. The grounds are landscaped with well-kept lawns, young trees and flower gardens, and the sunlight glistening on the lake water offers guests a fabulous view early in the morning. In the evening, the golden glow of the sunset reflects on the water, while the lights of Mórahalom softly shine in the background - the perfect setting for a romantic stroll or a glass of wine on the balcony.

The Babos Tanya Pension is located only 20 km from Szeged, from the M5 motorway exit Szeged-West you have to drive about 12 km to our destination. After leaving the main road you will find a quiet side road can come to us, already embraced by unspoilt nature. For our guests free parking in the enclosed courtyard, so your arrival is hassle-free. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by a peaceful environment instead of the noise of the city: birdsong, the gentle ripples of the water and the tranquillity of the countryside help you to immediately relax.
Accommodation and rooms
Our guest house built in 2023 eight exclusive double rooms all with private balconies or terraces and beautiful lake views. Our rooms are spacious (20 m²) and bright, with modern furnishings, with tasteful, rural elegance designed for. You're guaranteed a restful night's sleep on the comfortable, large double beds (160×200 cm) - soft bedding and a quiet night-time environment will help you wake up feeling rested every morning.
All our rooms non-smoker and can accommodate extra beds on request, making it ideal for couples, solo travellers and families with young children. The bathrooms are equipped with showers and spotlessly clean, with soft towels, hairdryers and quality toiletries.
